CQUT has 55 undergraduate programs and 50 graduate programs.

Currently, CQUT has 1 key laboratory and 1 engineering research center approved by Ministry of Education (MOE), 1 productivity-promotion center approved by Ministry of Science and Technology (MST), and 16 key laboratories at provincial level (including both engineering and technology research center, social studies centers).

Meanwhile, CQUT also has 2 auxiliary key laboratories, 2 auxiliary humanities and social studies key laboratories as well as 32 research institutes of university.

In order to match research with industry, CQUT has maintained a long-term cooperative relationship and established joint labs and research centers with a number of corporations such as Chongqing Chang’an Automobile Co.Ltd, Chongqing Dajiang Industry, Chongqing Automobile Research Institute, Chongqing Zongshen Group, Shanghai Shuangjie Technology Co.Ltd, MSC.SOFTWARE Co. USA.
